do you think it will bloom this spring for me? or do i have to wait until the next bloom season?

The next blooming season may be spring time bonsai. This summer, I had quite a few blooms that I didn't expect until late winter. Phals can spike at any time but typically, late winter.

Once the weather starts changing where you are and drops and stays consistently lower than the temps now, you may very well see spiking.

Sweet givens bonsai, I have had phals that had not bloomed in over a year, repot them and within a month signs of a shoot, so with that positive note....good luck.

Cullen that is great! congratulations on your new phal, I can't wait to see it bloom for you, how exciting, and how lucky, I almost never get free 'chids from big stores like Lowe's or HD.... that is wonderful! congratulations!

It's like having a baby and not knowing if it's going to be a boy or a girl, as you tend for it and the buds arrive I'm sure you'll get just as anxious as if the baby was about to arrive.
I love how nature works with simple little surpises like that.
