Dtps. Fire Cracker ‘Blue Martini’
Here's a photo of my summer blooming Dtps. Fire Cracker ‘Blue Martini’. I hadn't realized it was a summer bloomer when I got it last winter, and was disappointed when it hadn't bloomed then. Needless to say, I was so surprised to see a spike emerging about 6 weeks ago...and it's finally putting on a show.

I really love the color! It's such a nice pastel purple color. Seeing the spike must have been a very nice surprise for you!

I bought mine from Norman's at the WOC in January. At that time Norman told me it was going to be his last show...he is moving to just doing Internet business for now on.
I'll have to agree with the mixed reviews on that, as Dorothy pointed out above. Some of the plants I received from them over the net (on seperate purchases) were fine, but some were in not-so-good a shape when they arrived. I found that so long as I planned to replant as soon as I got plants from them over the net, they do ok.

Roly - if you are interested in this one - you might want to contact Sapphire Dragon Orchids - Sapphire Dragon Orchids - Photo Gallery
I don't see it available on the site but it is in their gallery .. they might have a few off to the side
Norman's or Orchid.com has it also - ORCHIDS.COM : SHOP : : SEARCH RESULTS although this vendor has mixed reviews
