Well, I sure am happy I got such a good photo yesterday...
seems like maybe one of lizards out there has gained a little weight and snapped the dorsal sepal It's still attached but hanging down.

Thankfully, there's another spike coming up

Hi Sue, love this one. What does it smell like? Can you describe it? Why did you cut off the other Methuselah blooms? Were you afraid it would drain the plant? And finally, do you have a picture of the entire plant? Would love to see what the leaves look like. Congrats!
