Has anyone managed to get a keiki from placing the spike in water? My last one went mouldy after a week...

After numerous tries, I do have a spike in a vase that is growing "something". It's a bit to soon to tell if it is a flower branch or a keiki. Something I'm doing different with this one is changing the water on a daily basis.
