Disposable Phals
A friend of mine lives at a hotel in Chicago. They put Phals at the checkin desk and in all of the rooms and bathrooms. As soon as the blooms drop they are taken away. I asked what they did with them, and they.. pitch em... HUGE PHALS! Its tragic. Anyway, they told me I could come anytime and pick up "dead" ones to take home.
For people who like phals, check out hotels in your area and see if they regularly pitch em once they drop the blooms. You could have an endless supply!
I picked up 3 today, one even has a bud that has yet to open.

Your friend lives in the hotel long term?
It sounds nice, but do I really want an endless supply of NOID phals to nurture back to life? They probably are all white too. I'm already annoyed that two of my phals look the same, even though they have different names... I like variety.

Its the trump tower. Ive seen the four seasons and penninsula have them out also though.
I would bet pretty much any high end hotel would have them readily available.

Hollylee, please explain the avatar...it's too cute! What is the story behind the picture?
Thowing out phals is so awful!
I'm too far away or I would be parked on their doorstep waiting for the throw-a-ways. What a sad thing. I may have nightmares tonight.
You should open up an orchid orphanage....poor little things.

Marty our Forum creator/leader/administrator once used this avatar himself. At first I thought Hollylee was Marty.
