Oh my goodness! That is beautiful!
I also love your GH!

I find phal species quite a challenge, I've only had success with phal equestris.

Do you think that being a primary hybrid would make them a little bit easier to grow ... I've just have to get one to find out!

Thanks All. I was incorrect with the name. It is:
Phal. Nobby's Fox 'Super Star' (Buena Jewel x Penang Girl)

One thing about me, I am so bad with names.

Hi!

The greenhouse that is in this picture is a place that I rent a few benches for my collection. In my current address, the HOA does not allow greenhouses, sheds etc.. so I had to find somewhere to place my phals.

Phal species can be a real bugger.. but I have managed to do really well with them. It really depends on air circulation, potting mix and just TLC. (that is my 2 cents)

Yes, I do think that when they are a primary hybrid that they are easier to grow. Most of my really nice phals are also potted with lava rock and they LOVE it.

This one is Phal Corning-Ambo and I love the flower and fragrance..

enjoy!

Rob -I have attached Phal. Nobby's Fox Lineage Chart (This one was easy)
This hybrid is made up of
Phal violacea - 50%
Phal venosa - 25%
Phal amboinensis - 12.5%
Phal micholitzii - 12.5%
I knew it had a lot of violacea in it
