Hmmm, I thought it was a NEW Spike? Not a keiki? But oh well, any new baby is welcome

Please update us, its obviously trying one last time to continue onward- survive.... maybe some keiki paste of sorts would help? Good luck!!

Sorry, I didn't mean what you had was a new keiki. It's definitely a spike. I just meant that putting a stem in water will occasionally yield a keiki.

What sort of magic potion is in the runoff water?

I am a firsthand witness that this spike is really growing on a cut spike! No witchcraft here...unless??? JK.

I just had a spike bloom after having blasted all the previous blooms. It was a rescue that had some buds, but those died when I took it home. No new growth, just the same spike. Apparently it wasn't finished blooming.
