I have waited so long................
Hey yall,
Today I recieved what I have longed for ever since I was bit by the orchid bug. A Phal. speciosa var. Tetraspsis and Phal. tetraspsis C1. I am aware of the name changes but that stuff gives me a headache. It took a while to find them but I couldn't be any happier. Been up late repotting and just staring at them. Weird I know, but I can't wait to get up in the morning to stare at them again. I got a Phal. taenialis with this order and in my daze broke the newest growth off of it. I hope it will make it. However, I will probably kill that cool grower anyway.

Hi Neil,
Well, you certainly got my attention! P. tetraspis has been a phal I've wanted for a long time! Where did you find them?
I really like the way you have potted them, they will really 'shine' in a couple of years growing over the edge of the pot like that.
Congratulations, I understand the 'just sitting and looking' comment.

Phal speciosa v. tetraspis and Phal tetraspis are considered synonymous, with the latter being the accepted name these days. If they were in my collection, I'd have 'em tagged as speciosa and tetraspis, although that looks a bit on the zebrina-ish side..

Hey Ray,
They are tagged speciosa and tetraspsis. I am not sure why I posted the other way. Thanks for the advice. Do you think the tetraspis has to many bands to be as such? Is that what you mean by zebrina-ish side? Anyway, I love both of them and I am going to go check them out again right now.
Have a good day,
Neil
