Smile First rebloom for Doritaenopsis

Hi all!

Just thought I would share this cutie with the forum. Unfortunately it is a NOID, but I really do love it - it was one of several big-box purchases I made with blooms that don't look like every other Dtps out there IMO, haha...

The blooms are very small (about 1.5" across) and a very dark magenta color. It may be Dtps. Purple Gem, but I'm not sure - the petals are a bit different on this one - they have a really cool cut edges, as if someone had cut them out of magenta construction paper I also like the little spotted throat.

Anyways, I wanted to share this bloom pic bc I'll have to be removing the spike from this plant early this week...this is a stress spike that came up after I repotted into S&H, and the plant itself is visibly declining a bit as it put up this spike, so in order to save the plant, the spike's gotta go!

Thanks for looking!
~Becky
