Another Phal. Mini Mark 'Holm' thread/question...

I've posted the pictures in my gallery, but that's not the point here.

I was of the impression that this particular hybrid had no fragrance. But today, when watering it, I noticed a lovely, sweet, very slight fragrance coming from the blooms. What a wonderful surprise! Has anyone else noticed a frangrance in this hybrid?

YAY, John!! I had actually raised this question in a couple other threads recently! My mini-mark is indeed fragrant, but when I'd posted the question, everyone who responded said theirs wasn't.

It is a lovely, but yes, very delicate fragrance in the mornings when he's getting the most sun, and goes away by around noon. When just the 1st bloom opened, I'd only notice the scent if I put my nose right up to it. But, now that there are 4 blooms, it is much more noticeable.

Hi Yvan. Mine has three blooms now, and that'll be it on this spike. It's the first bloom, so I'm very pleased with how it opened and is shaped. With the three I can notice the fragrance with the plant about half a foot from my nose. What a wonderful surprise! - John

Wow! Lucky you having a Mini Mark with a fragrance. I have checked mine with no sucess . My Mini Mark is doing better since my last post of when two of the upper leaves were turning orange. It seems to be holding its own so I will just have to wait and see.
The first is what it looked like a few weeks ago the next 3 show it today.

Sheridan, I am so glad to hear yours is doing better! I wonder what was going on with him?

I think this Mini-Mark fragrance thing is so interesting! John and I are certainly in the minority here. But the fragrance is, while pretty subtle, delightful.
