I have question about Phal, chattaladae. I have read that p.c almost not exist in cultivation. My thought is now, if p.c is so rare, what type is then sold as p.c at certain vendors/nurseries? Or is it so that p.c isīnt that rare anyway?
Yesterday I just saw this species from a local vendor.
He said the chattaladae can not be stem-propagated so far.
This new species/vatiation is still unstable.
Each one he sell the price is about US$18 without flower.
but the pure dark red one with flowers is about US$400 to 200.It depends on the color and shape.
It is rare and expensive, becuase the vendor have to pick it out from many red cornucervi. Only the high quality called "chattaladae",once the technich is sloved.I think the price will slip and no more rare.
