OMG I love them all! Everything about them is soooo gorgeous! I've often wondered, do you find species phals more difficult to grow than hybrids? Just curious.... Thanks for sharing your lovely pics!

Thank You for the compliments No they are not hard to grow just a little more light then the hybrids but not a lot more they are actually with the others but up a little higher because of how my green house is the light is supplemented by a compact fluorescent in a cheap reflector from Wal Mart . Thank you for the info Gin! The only phal. species I have is an equestris, a mannii, and a hieroglyphica. The first two I haven't very long at all and the hieroglyphica I've had for a year. I have found it can take a lot more light then my hybrids. The hybrid sitting next to it has turned a little purple from the light but the hieroglyphica is loving it. It has beautiful bright green leaves and has 3 spikes growing. Now I don't have to be afraid of trying a few more species.
