Another beautiful one Al! You know I love to drool over your phals! Have you guys looked at Baldans current auctions? I don't know if they have yours Al, but some of the other colors are to die for too. But I don't have anymore room for the "biggies" either.

Oooh! I was thinking of getting both Baldan's Venetian "Peach Delight" and Baldan's Kaleidescope Select Hybird 'Melon'!! But like many others on this forum, I'm running out of space. Plus I still live with my immediate family (very traditional for Dominicans) and if they see another orchid-related box being delivered to me they'll probably smash it on my head

Al that is so pretty. Love the sunset shades! I'm waiting for them to release 2 new hybrids Miami Heat and Jenny. I check their website daily to see if they are ready yet. They're such teases!
I really like a lot of their plants but they are so huge.

Hi Terri,
I watch for those two also. Have you written them to ask if they would put you on a waiting list for the release of the plants? I don't think they update their web site very often and those two phals are going to go fast.........

I'm on Baldans waiting list too for Miami Heat and Jenny, and their response was that it would be a "few months before they get them back from the lab." This was from 5/16 in case this helps anyone. I really really want them now though lol

They confirmed me on the list also. Apparently there was a set back at the lab so they will be really small seedlings. I think we are still looking at several months before they're ready. Here's what they wrote me:
Yes we will put you on the list they got set back 6 months very slow to start been there about 3 years now we should get them in a few months they will be very tiny at that point we will then have to keep them a few months to make sure they are o.k......Thank you BALDANORCHIDS
By the sound of it we may be looking at 2009.
