I went with the Neo. have 2 in bloom they were one plant it is about 17 years old I know it is tough, it survived me . Also have the bellina time will tell on it lol . Gin

Neofinetia. It's tougher, has a better smell, and doesn't require a sauna with 98% humidity to grow and bloom well. That being said, however, I actually do like Phalaenopsis belina--and I'd probably like it even more if I lived in South Florida.

Bellina, I'm growing mine in 50% RH or lower and it's sending up 2 new spikes and budding from the old one. Smells fantastic and has great color.

Since I only have Phal violaceas, I will vote for the bellina as I love the ones I have - form, color and fragrance are superb!
but I am sure if I had a Neo .. it would be a toss-up

I gotta go with the Neo. I hate to say this and not to offend anyone, but the bellina is kinda, well........ unattractive JMO!! I hope I dont get any hate mail. I also have a Neo and they smell AWESOME!!

I had to vote Neo!
But I don't have the Bellina and so could be swayed! roflolol
The fragrance really fills the room, sweet and sort of dreamy, like the moment when your head hits your feather pillow at night. *poof* Honeysuckle and roses!
And think of all the different varieties, sizes and colors!

Is Bellina big though? I've seen in many pictures the huge plants of P. bellina, it makes me not wanna get it.
