Thought I would share a picture of one of my favorite phals. If you don't have one and are a phal person, I suggest getting on over to Parkside and ordering one! They smell YUMMY!!

Enjoy

Oooh! That's very pretty. Looks like it has a lot of violacea in it. That would account for the nice fragrance.

Wow Jenn, your phal is stunning! I just LOVE the colors! I'm so excited that you posted this pic because I bought one last summer from Parkside. Now you have me super excited to see mine bloom someday. I'm starting to think that it's not going to spike this year though. No activity at all and it's supposed to be summer blooming. All my other phals are spiking so I'm not sure what it's problem is. I get to enjoy yours instead!

Dorothy is right... Violacea makes up 1/2 of the parentage of this phal. The smell is wondeful... like the yellow fruit loops lol.

Thanks everyone for the comments! Sweet Memory is probably my favorite plant and was given to me by a really good friend.

Caseydoll, you'll get it in spike! I can't take full credit for mine, as it was already in spike when my friend ordered it from Parkside. If you look closely, the bloom in the background is actually wilted. When it does spike, don't cut the main spike back, as it looks as if it'll rebloom out of the same one again!

Yippee! I have one of these, now in spike for the first time and I can hardly wait. Lovely one, Jenn!

Thanks Shirley! Make sure to tell me if you agree that it smells like yellow fruit loops when it opens!
