Smile Phal. Brother Goldsmith

Well I'm not really sure that this one is actually called Phal. Brother Goldsmith but that's the tag in the pot! I have looked it up online and can't say for sure if that's what I have now that is has bloomed. I got it at a big box store 4 years ago and the tags could of definately been mixed up. So anyway, here it is blooming for the first time since I bought it all those years ago. Only 3 blooms but the whole plant has been busy growing new leaves and roots when the spike was growing. I'm happy because this is something I can actually take credit for.

Sarah it's beautiful! I love yellow Phals. In fact I just ordered Phal. Yellowstone 'Floracultura' from Oak Hill to go with my Dtps. Taida Salu and Mini Mark! The Yellowstone looks similar but the lip is a different color. Congratulations on a rebloom of your own. I know how that feels!

Thank you everyone for your nice replies. I love yellow phals too. I was actually a liitle surprised when it bloomed because after 4 years I had forgotten what it looked like! I thought it was just a plain clear yellow. I'm happy with what I have though.

Terri, I really love the one you got from Oak Hill. I was drooling over that one when I placed my last order. Please post pics when it blooms, I can't wait to see it!

Wow, what a healthy looking plant and beautiful blooms. I know what it's like to wait for that first spike you can take credit for! Congrats!
