Note that another factor in light for Phals... they may like their light on the dim side, but they also need duration - like 12 hours a day. So supplemental light to exend the day is often needed for blooming, especially in winter.
I've got a couple similar from Trader Joe's. Hard to pass by a mottled leaf phal with a great fragrance being sold for the same price (<$10) as standard commercial phals. I've not had any trouble with mine.
