Default techniques for preventing bud blast in Phals

I grow all my orchids in a tent and remove them when blooming to enjoy them. With the change in environment, I understand that some bud blast is inevitable. I'm just curious if anyone has thoughts on the best strategy to minimize it. For example, should I remove the plants:

While the spike is still growing before buds form?

right before the buds open?

After one bud opens but the others are still closed? (this has been recommended in the past but I've had mixed results)

After most or all the buds open?

I've experimented a bit but curious what more experienced growers have noticed. Anecdotally I have found that certain plants seem much more prone to this than others, I'm wondering if genetics plays a role. Thanks!

I think it's more a matter of how big the difference is between temperatures and humidity inside the grow tent. Also, if the humidity is much lower outside the plant may need more frequent watering when removed.
