It really is a beautiful plant, it's quickly become one of my favorite phals!

Good choice! Did you buy the 'Tahiti Sunrise' clone as well? I have both, and also have a clone coming from Wu (as long as my friends remember to pick it up at Redlands). The variation among the clones is quite substantial re color, though pretty consistent relative to shape and substance. And keep an eye out for progeny of Sogo Lawrence! It seems to breed well, and some of the resulting colorations are brilliant.

I don't have the Tahiti Sunrise but I'm on the waiting list for these from Baldan's. The Miami Heat Mercedes, and Baldan's Jenny. Here's a link to these beauties: P (The link only comes up as a 'P' lol)

Baldan's has Sogo Lawrence 'Tahiti Sunrise'??? Man, that's surprising! They don't usually deal with imports.
If you poke around Peter Lin's gallery (Big Leaf), you'll find some of the Sogo Lawrence progeny I mentioned.
Did you order the Nobby's Fox 'Superstar' from Normans when you ordered the SL? A number of us did, and those are beautifully grown plants - if you're hooked on phals, it's well worth the money!

Well Baldan's say these are new and still in the lab, so we'll see! I talked to Peter from Big Leaf, I really wanted a Phal I-Hsin Salmon but he was all sold out.
