Phalaenopsis losing mottling on its leaves

Hello, I'm new here, and also still relatively new to orchids, so sorry if I'm posting in the wrong place. I've got a Phalaenopsis that probably has Schilleriana as one of its parents but the new leaves it's growing don't have the mottled patterned anymore. At first I thought it was getting enough light, so I moved it from a west facing window to a south east one, but that doesn't seem to have fixed anything. Also keep in mind that I live in Canada where our days get short in the winter. Is the problem maybe too much light? Overall, it's still a pretty healthy plant though and it's also in bloom.

I think it probably is more mottled in higher light, but you may need to allow new leaves to grow in high light to get mottling. On the other hand it's the leaves hiding under other leaves that are still mottled... strong evidence that I am wrong.

I'm curious what other have to say on the topic....

It looks to me as though the newer leaves are purplish due to brighter light, and I suspect the higher light led to less mottling. The issue in Canada for low light plants like Phals. isn't so much light intensity as it is day length in winter. Aim for only 1,000 foot candles year round, with days extended by lights to 10-11 hours in Winter.
