Phalaenopsis Ember
I have collected 50+ phalaenopsis orchids with a focus on fragrance (as in most of my plant purchases). Phalaenopsis Ember is one of my favorites, if not the best. The fragrance is wonderful, like a mix of schilleriana and violacea, probably the most powerful of the 25 on this bench. Plant is very compact (it is pictured in a six inch pot). Also, it's beautiful.

That would be phalaenopsis corningiana. Quite fragrant in it's own right.

Where did you get this one? I bet it glows in the sunlight.

I got this one from HappyPlantsUSA on Etsy. They are a reliable importer of Asian phals and cymbs

I love fragrant phals too, I’ll have to consider ember! I also love that corningiana, I’ve never seen one so orange.

The corningiana is definitely special, I love the white center and orange color. Very strong fragrance, though not as pleasing as Ember. It has a mix of floral and savory notes. I got the corningiana from Orchid Classics.
