Yes, it was a mystery box. If I remember correctly miniature Phals., grower's choice.
Yes, also, regarding the Wilson nomenclature. Those are his hybrids.

at the risk of sounding like a broken record, if you buy phals, and *if* you care at all about virus, I strongly encourage you to ask the vendor what their virus policy is. I have found virus is absolutely rampant in phals. I dabble in this genus but over the past 2-3 years I have purchased maybe 12 phals from 5 sources with a 33% positivity rate in this small sample size. Three of these 5 vendors have sent me virused plants, and of these three, 2 have a "buyer beware" policy. (one of them didn't even bother to respond after initially telling me he doesn't accept returns if the plant has been "mutilated", i.e. with a small piece of leaf or root sliced off). If anyone wants to know who vouches for virus, feel free to PM.

Maybe you could share in the vendor feedback subforum for everyone to see?

is anyone interested (and would anyone object to) a thread about the virus policy of various vendors? Just objective facts.

I think it would fit the rules of the vendor feedback subforum and be very helpful!

Got my order from orchidclassics! The bellina coerulea is the lightest green, new leaf coming, no spikes (none were promised). The venosa has two spikes, the deliciosa looks like there are two plants in the pot. We’ll see how they do.
