Default Phal. Jennifer Palermo (tetraspis x violacea)

I thought I got a Phal. Germaine Vincent, but my brain managed to mess up when I placed the order and I got a Jennifer Palermo. Again.

Used to have one when I had my larger orchid collection and wasn't too keen on the flowers. This one was on sale (and a Germaine Vincent I thought as mentioned) and came with two mature spikes and one flower opened. It dropped the flower after a couple of days, but the other bud made it and has now opened.

When I compare it to my previous J.P. I think this has a more saturated colour? Maybe? I think I like it better compared to the one I used to have. I do like the form better and of course it has a lovely lovely scent.

What a beautiful color, on a shapely flower. Striking!
