the phal blue lady is nearing its time now, and hopefully the flowers are blueish, tho a lot of red in the buds

for you foto folks i tried again with the focus stack technique, but a lot tamer this time!

lets see what happens!

thanks camille! yeah, for this one i just turned the plant so that the length of the spike was generally in focus and then had to get a couple shots fore and back to get all the bud in focus. waaaaaaay easier with a subject like this than with the colmanara and 40 flowers i was trying to shoot thru. but learning a bit each time!

hey fuerta,

they are true colors as best i could capture them...no adjustments to the pic. its more purple than i was hoping, but we will see how it changes if at all as they age.
