I really like this one. I've mentioned in the past that I had a phal that flowered outdoors with a completely different flower than indoors. Both flowers were on the plant at the same time. This is what the first flower looks like this year.

If anyone knows what the clonal name is, I'd love to know.

Looks like Phal. Magic Art.

A local judge told me this particular Phal can have quite a variation in blooms, as I'm sure you will see once you start looking at photos.

A local online seller even mentions that this Phal can, and has, bloomed with a dark red bloom as well as the bloom similar to yours in the same blooming.

That fits with my comment in the OP. One spring I moved this plant from indoors ~67F to outside (Mississippi) 80-90F. The two flowers on the plant appeared to have nothing in common.

Another thing that is very different about this particular phal is that the diameter of the flower stalk is huge compared to my other phals. The spike is like a tree, having 5 branches and 25 buds and counting. The buds open very slowly and the flowers are very large. The beefy features lead me to suspect that it is a polyploid of some type.

Can you imagine being a grower and having something like this show up unexpectedly in a batch of seedlings. It's very pretty, but I wish it was a bit rounder and flatter.

I feel your further description again refers to Phal. Magic Art from the plants I've seen.

Turning up at a show with your plant showing different blooms would probably turn the judges apoplectic!

I'm sure if it was a show open to the public, someone would want it desperately.

Still in the end without that precious label being attached to the plant throughout its life all we can say is 'its like Phal Magic Art'

Color and spots can vary dramatically in Phals with temperature variation during bud development.

I think it is fairly certain that this is Phal Magic art and that's what I'm calling it, but you're right in saying that an unlabeled plant of unknown origin (I think it was Lowes, but that wouldn't qualify as 'known') shouldn't be shown. Looking into it fairly extensively, I've been unable to find the actual hybrid name. Maybe Ray can help with this. In fact, I haven't been able to find out if 'Magic Art' is the hybrid versus a clonal name. Maybe there is a background for this orchids somewhere, but I couldn't find a reliable source.

Adding to my early note, I found photos of this orchid that fit perfectly with my observations and the plant with two flowers that are completely different on the same plant. Apparently, this orchids markings are sufficiently unstable that the flowers can have reversed markings where they are almost all dark burgundy (for lack of a better color description) with white edges. I've attached a photo. My plant was very small and had only two flowers, one looking like each of the attached photos.

I'm not sure how it got missed, but I have not logged the plant's information into my greenhouse records yet or tested it for virus (maybe tonight), but I've also read that Magic Art is infected with virus.
