Interesting to note that the flowers open up with some 'blank' sections where there are no spots - you can see this on the smaller, recently opened flower's left lateral sepal.

As the flower matures the spotting fills in the gaps! Each flower has exhibited this as they open and mature.

BTW, the single flower pic's colour is a bit out. The second pic show's correct colour.
