I'm seeing a slight pink blush, really pretty phal!

OK, I'll quit obsessing over it! I'm just happy it bloomed.

Yes Gloria it has just the slightest blush on the petals. It's actually more pronounced on the back of the flower.

Thanks again everyone for the nice comments.

I'm impressed. I think it looks just wonderful and for me I like the flowers tight because well just because! As you said your NOID is "common" and that may be true as it is for so many hybrids....they have just a very small something that is different but to the unsuspecting eye they look the same. And having said that mouthful, this is a plant, one of my 1st phals, that I've had for several years....maybe it is yours and then again maybe not. The small freckle pattern on the lower sepals is hard to see in my pics....

i was wondering if a little less light would increase the spacing; as the flowers have to reach a little further

You may be onto something there Snow. I was thinking maybe it hasn't been warm enough so the growth slowed down but the bud development didn't. Next year I'll try moving them back a row and see what happens. Thanks!

Doc, yours is very nice. I don't think mine has the freckles, and yours doesn't seem to have the blush. You are so right. There are probably hundreds of plants out there that all look the same but aren't.
