Default Phalaenopsis Lovely Kid

Hello all.

I would like to get everyone's opinion. I have this Phalaenopsis Lovely Kid (P. lobbii x P. parishii) that I have growing in my terrarium. The leaves are yellowing out slowly, and even though I know this is a semi decidous phal, I also know that given proper conditions, it should not loose its leaves. My question is, is there such a thing as too much light for this Phal? I added sphagnum moss to the roots to help keep humidity high, but maybe I should move it farther away from the lights?
Thanks.

Hello, the plant appears to be healthy. This might be sings of a deficiency, of some type. You could add one tbsp of Epsom salt's to one gallon of water and spray the roots well.

What is the light source[?] and how close is the plant to that light source?

The plant is only 6 inches, or less 15cm or less, away from the light source. I am using compact flourescents, 2 X 65Watt, 7000K.

I have a Lovely Kid and the leaves on it are not dark green - even though its in a relatively low light position. My take on that is that it doesn't need a lot of light. (Just my personal view....)
