That should make for an.. interesting scent. How does your specimen smell?

I haven’t been able to give it a sniff in the day yet, but I will do so tomorrow and report back. In the evening, I do notice a light floral/earthy scent so I imagine it must be quite fragrant in the day.
I actually purchased another one (did I say I love this orchid?
) so now I can compare both their fragrances. It’s also a backup plant haha. I really like the cross and that ancestry is very interesting. Who knew we’d be able to find novelty phals at the grocery store lol! For anyone in the US, I also saw them at Lowe’s.
Fun fact: the plastic nursery pot is marked with the Sogo Orchid label.
