Phalaenopsis flask supplier - Orchid Board

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a Phalaenopsis flask supplier - anyone any recommendations? I'm interested in bellina/violacea hybrids, fragrant.
I've tried Shining orchids in Taiwan, but I don't think they're interested in smaller orders (around 600USD), so I'm not getting replies back. They have gorgeous hybrids, so I'll keep trying with them hopefully without appearing too rude!
Until then, is there anyone who's got a good source?

What volume of flasks are you looking for? Just an occasional one or enough for a nursery? I'm more familiar with the American occasional-flask suppliers, so I'll let more knowledgeable people chime in with info for Down Under!

Hi Dr Dawn,

I would like my first order to be around 10-15 flasks and after that significantly more for a nursery - essentially looking for a reliable source for a long term business. Small one for now because of lack of space.

You could try Mallee Phallies in Victoria Australia, they import from Asia and South America.
Don't know if they send to NZ but its worth a try.

Ok. I've sent a message to a friend who has contacts with commercial Cym hybridizers, maybe they can point in the right direction.

One thing you may like to try is orchidwire.com
While I was checking my sellers list I saw this one and they list sellers by country.

I'll let you know if I get any other names.

I haven't ordered from any of these so I can't vouch for them.

Orchidwire is really great - I've been going through it as much as possible, sending out emails with fingers crossed somebody will come back to me.

Contact Orchids Dominicana.

They primarily supply to vendors in North-, Central-, and South America, but they might be willing to stretch that territory.
