Default Phal Pink Panther

Whenever I say or write the name of this plant, I have the music from the cartoon of the same name running through my head...

Not many flowers this year, the plant was viciously attacked by snails last summer when I kept it outside on my balcony. I nearly lost it and it's slowly recovering. I'm eagerly awaiting for my bottle of Kelpak (Kelpmax on this side of the pond) to arrive, to kick start root production on it.

The blooms are very thick and waxy, and extremely long lasting (4-8 months).

Very nice, Camille. The only thing I've ever had that lasted that long was an Epi. radiatum (just starting to bloom when I put it out in for the summer and just finishing up when I brought it in for fall. Good save!

Rarely, almost never, do I see a phal and LOVE it. This is one.
Most special!

Also, I am a terrible musician (bad at many instruments) and one of the first things I learned to play on bass was the theme to the pink panther. As a kid I would drone that song on and on and on lol. My parents probably still hate it

The worst is that Pink Panther probably isn't even it's real name. I bought it labeled as such, other people as well, and the name is registered. BUT it's not possible that they are one and the same. The registered Pink Panther is completely different, and there are no Phals in it's parentage that would contribute the thick waxy flowers. I kept the name as it is since the situation with this Phal/name is extremely unclear.

That is really beautiful. And, yes, I started humming the song just from the thread title, before I even opened it.
