Dendrobium Phal in Bloom with Multiple Spikes! (Pics)
Default Dendrobium Phal in Bloom with Multiple Spikes! (Pics)

Hello everyone!

This is my first time reblooming my den. Phal and I got some unexpected results. After giving some flowers almost a month ago, it started to produce 4 more flower spikes at the same time!!!

I have never had an orchid do this before as I am still in my beginning stages of orchid growing so I thought this was a good indicator of how well I’m doing.

Super excited to see the other spikes put on a display.

Hope you enjoy the pics.

Congratulations, well-done. That's how the orchid addiction starts Now you need more orchids!

Just a note... Dendrobium-phalaenopsis is a type of Dendrobium, not actually related to Phalaenopsis at all. The flowers look a little like a Phal, and the naming of the group that way causes all sort of confusion. It grows under temperatures similar to Phalaenopsis, but needs much more light. Clearly yours is getting what it wants!

Very nice--that is a happy plant. Your leaves are in good condition also. Good growing.
