My new light cart!
Default My new light cart!

Hello all,
I used to grow a lot of orchids years ago, but I unfortunately had to get rid of them all about 20 years ago. Now, after missing them for all these years, I'm starting over.

I just got this light cart and some orchids for it. I cannot wait to get back into this hobby/obsession. I have missed it for all these years.

Here's my light cart and my current orchids. Each shelf has 3 full spectrum LEDs. I have been procrastinating and going crazy making decisions on making a light cart, so I finally just bought one pre-made and assembled it. Pricey, but at least I'm not sitting on the sidelines anymore

I have Catts, Phals, Paphs and a Neo Falcata or 2 (yes, it's a Vanda now, I know. )

HI! I've several of these and without them and a decent window my plants would all be in the compost. Happy growing.

Yes! It wasn't too bad to assemble and it looks quite nice. As I said, it was pricey but if I hadn't just gone ahead and bought it, I'd be obsessing over details and lights forever without actually getting it done.
