T8 Fullspectrum Sun Lights (orange pkg) Male
Default T8 Fullspectrum Sun Lights (orange pkg)

Hi Im new to the board..

I just recently bought two 18 inch t8 Full spectrum (noonday sunlight) GE fluorecents (they come in an orange packaging from home depot). I have set them up about 1 1/2 feet away from my orchids...

I have 2 oncs, 2 phals, 1paph and 1 dend.

Is this enough artificial lighting for these plants? the rack they are on are also in front of a west window.. so they do get some sunlight about 2-4pm...

Just curious if anyone has used these fluorescents.. i bought them since they say that they have full spectra and mimic noonday sunlight.

any input on this would be appreciated
