Awesome LED Light Burned Out-Need Replacement Female
Default

Thanks for the website Ray! It has some really nice lights, I might actually get some for myself and for my mom who also grows orchids

As for any kind of electrical problem, I don't think so. I use a power strip with surge protection and have a humidifier, fan, heat mats and second light all plugged into it. They are all fine. If anything, I would blame the humid environment and possibly user error for the two damaged lights. Maybe mostly user error... The T5s were cheap and honestly I wasn't surprised that the ballast blew. I should have known better and bought a better unit in the first place. As for the LED, I suspect water or condensation got into it. I'm going to try for a better sealed light this time around.

Thanks all!
