Decent light meter in fc?

Hi-new to the forum.
Can anyone recommend a decent light meter (in FC).
Had a Hydrofarm which went 'dormant' on me after 3 months-and never worked properly from beginning.
Don't want to go by the reviews on Amazon.
Any advise appreciated...

Which Hydrofarm unit did you have? I sell a lot of these, with almost no complaints (I think one was DOA, and quickly replaced).

Thanks for reply.
Not sure what model it was-just their basic meter.
No reflection on Hydrofarm-as I recently bought their
Agrobrite HO t5 light unit.
Don't have a meter to measure and verify the quoted
rating of 8,000 lumens. My old meter only registered
high 3500+-!!
