Hey ppl.
Brought a led light off ebay and was wondering if it will be able to grow anything?
The lights going to be for mosses, bulbophilum orchids and maybe some ferns.
Miniatures that is going to be on top of my 45cm high glass enclosure.
What do use think? Before i risk killing my new plants....

I suggest optimism and caution. I grow mostly under LEDs from First Ray's. They put out more light than I thought possible. I've bloomed brassavolas and rupics under them. Early on, I burned a couple too.
I don't know offhand how the specs of mine and yours compare, but since you mentioned lower light plants, I'd start with the light well away - a foot or more- and play with the distance based on how your plants respond to that.

I have used LED lights (not sure the specs) on planted aquariums with low light plants. They are wonderful. They grow the plants but are not high light enough to grow the algae. In full sun, the algea would grow, so that's a hint that they are not high light enough to grow "outdoor" plants, and potentially not 75% of outdoor light like some of my orchids. I really would worry if you are going to be growing plants like Cattleyas and high (er) light orchids.
