Default would these work for bookshelf orchids?

I just came across these at Lowes and they seem to be my best option for supplemental lighting. Which types of orchids should I focus them on? I currently have all my plants on a bookshelf at a 90* angle to an east facing window, no direct light but lots of light from white walls and a few sunny days (I'm in central Ohio). I have a den, vanda, 2 catts, encyc, onc hybrid, 2 phals, 1 paph...

$50 for a light that produces 220 lumens? That is no bargain. If you have room for an 18" fixture, this Shop Utilitech Hardwired Cabinet Fluorescent Light Bar Kit at Lowes.com produce almost 3x the light at around 1/3 the price.

I really don't have any room, which is why I'm looking for very low profile cabinet lighting...I'd love a full rack & light set but I'm renting and don't want to invest much money or space into this. I'm hoping our forever home will have a full sun room! (in 18mo)

The link I provided is for under cabinet lighting. Height of the two fixtures is pretty close, .75" for the LED versus 1.5" for the fluorescent. 18" refers to the length of the shelves/fixture. Installation is basically the same, and if money is an issue, it's 1/3 the cost.......
