With regards to RH and your plants, it will also depend on what kinds of plants you have. Over the winter, my RH peaks at around 33% -- if I'm lucky -- and that's with a humidifier running 24/7. Despite such abysmal humidity levels, most of my plants do okay. The catts and phals don't seem to have much issue if any. (And no, I don't mist or use humidity trays.) Now some of the pleuros like masdies are less than thrilled, but even they typically pull through for me. Now most of my mini mini's are in terrariums which maintain a much more desirable humidity level.

Because is in contact with tiny droplets of water, if you make another hole just for the fan(air in) you can use the fan for long time.

here is the new fogger I just built I'm in the tweeking stage now but so far so good the fan has low med and high so you can adj. what you need and the white piece is a toilet flange upside down with a 3" 45deg. pvc on it in side is a 9disk pond fogger from house of hydro.

Very cool! Looks like you have a lot more space to humidify, although I don't think you'll have a problem getting it done, lol :-)

May I ask, why the liner?

it was a old trash can that I scrubbed out and I did not think it would hurt.

I used a 5 head fogger in a 10 x 33 greenhouse last summer and in the mornings it was literally foggy in the entire space with humidity in the 90's. If you are using this in your home, I hope you are putting it on a timer and not running it all the time. You could end up with humidity problems for the house or the room that its in. That's a lot of fogging! My plants loved it as it was like being in a cloud forest but I couldn't have done it in a house. My discs also burned out although we do have a replacement set.

my whole room is enclosed in plastic except my two concrete walls my timer is set for 30mins. every 3hrs it starts at 7:30 am to 8:00 pm and it keeps my humid. around 75
