Default Right amount of lighting?

Hi everyone

Here is my current orchid setup, I also have my air plants by them

The lamp will soon have a 100watt equivalent full spectrum light bulb. I am assuming that as long as the plants don't start burning they are fine with the light?

So far they seem to be doing ok.

You will be needing the light in the dark winter months(but in Manhattan the winter sun is brighter than the summer sun maybe because the leaves are gone from the trees), but at the moment....you Phal is just doing fine....just put it near the pots....the natural light is much better there

I don't have any windows to put my plants by. There is one in my room by the plants but everytime I put a plant next to it they get spider mites for some reason. So we just blocked the window (the light hurts my eyes really badly) and put my animals there.

This same set up works great for my other plants, and some of them require a lot of light, so I am guessing if this works for them it should work for the orchids. I just wanted to make sure that it wouldn't burn them or anything.

Thanks Happy orchid growing!
