Default position of grow light(vertical or horizontal) does it matter?
I have an extra tek light that I quit using on my aquarium.

I also have a handful of mounted orchids on sticks that I want to give extra light to this winter during their rest.

Does the t5 light fixture produce the same output if it is hanging vertically vs the usual horizontal position?? I want to hang the orchids on sticks against the wall instead of laying them down on a table.

Most of the T5 HO lights I've seen can be used vertically or horizontally. With mounts it should work out great as long as the distance to the light is ok.

the only lights I know if that position matters are hps and mh
