Thank You for such a wonderful set up...you have inspired me to turn my 55 gallon aquarium into a mini orchid terrarium...I have the large sculptured lava rocks and the huge grape roots...its just the other essential things that I need to buy(light, heat, mist, fans and more mini orchids

Hi Ron! Is this a custom orchidarium or one from Orchidarum.com? It looks almost exactly like mine except mine doesn't have the legs on it. I would love to see additional closeup pictures on how you mounted the fans and have your lights. If this is a custom orchidarium I'm interested to know what type of lights and how many you are using. Your orchids look so lush and beautiful! Job well done!

Thanks for looking, Gloria, Arenal and Becca. Becca, this is custom built - the second one I've done. There are additional pictures and info on my blog and I think the answer to your questions are there, but if you have more questions let me know.

I'm not sure there's an answer about the fans on the blog, Becca. Not quite sure either if this is the answer you're looking for, but we took pieces of 1/4 x 3/4 aluminum flat and bent it to the shape we want, drilled it and mount the fans that way - two holes to mount it to the wood at the top of the case just under the lights, and two at the other end to which the fan is bolted by the holes at the bottom of the fan (the fan is upside down for convenience in attaching the wiring.
