Which T8 combinations? Female
Question Which T8 combinations?

Hello everybody

I have two 4 foot shop light fixtures over my growing area. The fixtures allow for two T8 bulbs each.
What combination of bulbs would be best for optimal growing and flowering?
4 plant bulbs, 2 cool white combined with daylight/sunlight bulbs, warm white, full spectrum? So many choices ...
I have become confused

Your input would be greately appreciated!
Thank you!

Margit

My recommendation would be 4 bulbs in the neighborhood of 6400°K color temperature (it will be right on the bulb).

I use the Alto II Daylight Deluxe 6500K bulbs from Home Depot. Box of ten is about $30.

Roy, Merlyn,

Thank you very much for the quick response.
That was precisely the information I was looking for.

Look again. A bunch of Houston area HDs show substantial quantities of "Philips 40-Watt Daylight Deluxe Linear Fluorescent Light Bulb (10-Pack)" as in-stock, per their website.

Hello RJSquirrel,
I am happy to say that I called two HD's here in the area and both had Daylight Delux 10 packs in stock. Even the smaller store that is closer to where I live.
