Orchidarium under lights LEDs.

Hello, I present my new orchidarium, which operates under lights LEDs, are the following measures 70cm wide x 70cm high x 48cm deep (27.3x27.3x18.7 inches) is a clear plastic mini-greenhouse.

I have the mini greenhouse equipped with:

1 LED light bulb 40w floral frame UFO style, features -> SpectraSPOT 36 - Système d'éclairage aux LEDs pour la culture de plantes en intérieur | SpectraSPOT, is the type VISU which reproduces the light so that the green color of plants can be seen. Here you can see the difference -> Les spectres Visua et Grow | Culture sous LEDs

1, ultrasonic humidifier brand CHICCO, fitted with a water bottle and a plastic tube to carry the vapor into the mini greenhouse.

1, fan 15 watts.

1, plastic tray filled with a row of "Ex-clay" and filled with a little water.

Timers with a photoperiod 12/12.

Covered inside MYLAR.

Hygrometer and a thermometer. It marks a 70% humidity and 24 ° (75.2 F)

And of course the orchids.

I would like, to tell me the Herror which are seen, and some possible solutions. If power will be enough light, the details could be improved, and so on.

I leave the photos so you can see it.

Wow, cool setup. I want to get some led lights, for my birthday. Some say led lights won't work, others say they do. I hope everything blooms for you!

This topic will go by monitoring the plants, I hope to do well in this light, a month will put pictures of the plants so you can see their status and evolution. My money is on LED technology if we do not support some never evolve.

a greeting!

Looks nice but I would say there seems to be a lot more light intensity in the middle than on the sides of the grow box. I think things may work if you rotate the plants.

Default New photos!

Orchidarium From inside, I removed the 2 largest orchid, a Dendro nobile, and a hybrid Cambria because they were so high that he could not give them good light, now living in a window, being just two, can be them well and leave the rest of the troops in the orchidarium.

It is nice to see your whole setup. How do all your orchids seem to be doing? They look good.

I have a suggestion getting to see your whole setup. I would have the humidifier hose up higher and more towards the middle of the roof.

Hi, thanks for reply, regarding the humidifier tube placement, this position so that the humidifier to run the fan runs too, so that water vapor is evenly distributed.

If not make myself clear.

The humidifier tube I can not crank up and focus this light and dripping over and could short-circuit the spotlight.

Regards.

For now it is too early to know how to evolve, it will take a while longer to see if their behavior is affected. I can say that if you are growing and taking many roots, thanks to new conditions much more humidity, which lived before.

If all goes well, will be a very good crop in the world of LED lights.

Anyway, I'll show pictures of their evolution.

Regards.
