Smile Update of orchidarium.

Update of orchidarium.

First I am very pleased with the plant "Dendrobium phalenosis" and its incredible development of roots, leaves and stem. The plant suffered an attack of fungus and worms, which ended with all the roots and half of the plant, could save a bit of it, did not have much hope in it, not having a single root, but eliminate the infection of fungus and worms, and leave her alone, taking care to see if he recovered.
From the mother plant in a last attempt to pull a child survive, this son has grown almost all his life in the light leds, and this beautiful, many roots much growth, amazing what my eyes day after day.

Also incredible growth of leaves and pseudobulbs of plants, Anoectochilus formosanus, Prosthechea cochleata and Bulbophyllum otoglossum not stop growing!

The other plants roots and leaves are developing more slowly but steadily.

I put new photos of the orchid as it goes, I added a new fan, to give more drafts.

Very nice growth. The LEDs look like they're working for you. I'm getting some soon myself.

Talking

New developments.

2 months ago, when mounting the orchidarium together gave me a Phalaenopsis orchid without flowers, in a shop, a flower stalk to begin to grow, as the change of life was rough, became a keiki, which is growing larger and strong.

Today I discovered orchids reviewing the same orchid that he is dating a new flower stalk!
I'm very happy that the LED lights work very well.

This orchid came with a stopper made of sphagnum moss, to remove.
This developing many new and old roots roots grow again.

Actually, this orchid as all others, are very happy under lights LEDs.

Greetings!

Pds: Checking the other Phalaenopsis have found a new surprise, another flower stalk!

Everything looks great. My setup is almost just like yours. I have a question for you about your fans. Do they blow directly on your orchids?
Also, is your humidifier a cool or warm humidifier? I have a warm humidifier and find it can make my greenhouse warm if run to long, but I don't want a cool one to make my greenhouse cold. I just run my warm one for 2 minutes. I'm going to get a timer to have it run for 2 minutes every few hours.

Hi, thanks for your interest in my Orchidarium, the phalaenopsis are already blooming days ago.
Fans point to directly orchids, one only works when connected the humidifier, which incidentally is cold steam. In this way the steam so distribulle more evenly.

The other fan, runs in cycles of 15 minutes there, 5 minutes if not 15 minutes, etc etc.

Now I have some winter heating with a heat radiating cable for terrariums. Of course it is connected to a thermostat, which is only active if the temperature drops below 20 degrees celsius.

In addition, soil is a layer of "Ex-clay" wet.

The system works perfectly, flourish, grow, no mushrooms, no pests. They are very healthy.

Well except a "Paphiopedilum bellatum", since my ferret is placed within the Orchidarium and abuse of this orchid. : S Luckily it did not affect most orchids.

I hope you understand this so bad translations from Spanish into English.

A greeting!

Yes, I got it! Thank you for your help. I found I can get enough air movement with the fan pointed at the ceiling without drying anything out to leave it on all the time.

The pictures are not the most up-to-date. It now has a fan mount at the top blow air up and around the sides. There are more orchids too. I also included a picture of a Vanda Robert's Delight "Dark Red" that was bloomed under my LED lights!
