Question Growing phals under track lighting...?

Hi.
I have 4 phals and an oncidium on a raised humidity tray on my kitchen counter. This counter divides the room and above it I have 4 spots on a track, with grow bulbs in them. Not 'orchid' bulbs, just the usual 'grow bulbs'. The lights are about 3.5ft. away from the plants, and are on around 9 to 10 hours a day. I am new to orchids this year. The first phal I got as a gift, in full bloom. When the blooms finished, (months later!) I cut the spike as directed. I did the same with the other 3 phals, and my oncidium as well. My question is: Do they get enough light to rebloom? The leaf color is a nice healthy green, and they all are putting out new roots on top of their pots. Am I doing this right??

They will not do well long term, but new LED lights go perfectly into track lights and if you go to the Orchids Limited web site and look at the MR16 bulbs with 38 degree dispersal, these will be able to work at about this height.

Thanks! But where is Orchid Limited? Is it part of this site or a different one?

Orchids Limited is an orchid greenhouse in Minnesota that does a very large online business as well. They are very advanced in experimenting with LED lights. Just Google "Orchids Limited" and you will find them.
