Default Beam pattern of reflectors for HPS and MH lamps?

Has anyone seen any information about the beam patterns provided by the reflectors used with High Pressure Soudium and Metal Halide lamps?

Default

Specific data will depend upon the reflector, but if I recall from some MUCH earlier reading, they are designed to be as close to a "uniformly lit" rectangle as possible.

Default Reflectors

Hi David,
I remember reading about this years ago. The reflectors with dimpled surfaces had the most even light with fewer hot spots.

You might want to research information on agricultural websites.

All the best Roland...........
