Camille, you read my mind. I have a CFL Daylight bulb with 100W output. I'll research if that's enough and at what distance I should place it. Lumens are a measure of light intensity.

Ah, the things we do for orchids.
I'm partial to the pink/purple flowers, and that's most of what I have. My husband is color blind, so I don't let him pick orchids for me, or clothes, either. He did buy one psychopsis, which is his favorite orchid.
