Ray, i applied the moss mix by rubbing it straight into the epiweb, creating a thick layer.
I use a
Mistking system which sprays twice a day and keeps the plants moist.
I should also note i have always used distilled water, from bottles.
Did you apply it thick/thin? Note that mine is not on sphag but straight on the epiweb, there are some strands growing but it is little, the sphag mixed into it turned green and full of algae.
However, my Den. Laevifolium is growing in a pot lower in the tank and it has been covered by a thick healthy layer of moss.
So maybe i should invest in a humidifier or something to keep the humidity high and reduce
misting directly on the epiweb.
Thanks guys,
Jeff
