Neosave Full Spectrum Fluorescent Lamps? Male
Default Neosave Full Spectrum Fluorescent Lamps?

Does anyone have experience with these? They are not cheap, but if they are good, I'll take the plunge..

scroll down on:
Bestel TL verlichting

Also, all suggestions on wide/full spectrum coolwhite/daylight plantlamps available in Holland are welcome.

Thanks, Hans

Which ones are you looking at, the tubes or the coily compact fluorescents? What sort of plants are you planning on growing under the light?

I tried to get a decently priced (I'm just a student) full spectrum light for my plants as supplemental lighting to compensate for the dreary winters, but quickly gave up.

Instead I got a 36W, 4000K powercompact from Rainforest frogs here in NL. Next week I'm going to go buy another one, probably a 55W. The only problem with it it putting it together. I'm not so good at wiring things so my uncle did it for me...

It's not full spectrum, but I'm growing and blooming my orchids well under it, next to an east facing window.I only have low to medium light plants there, and they are tinged purple. When I get the 55W, I'll put my higher light plants there.
